Bluffton School, Pigeon Hill property owner moving toward development

MUSKEGON, MI – Developers are making the first visible movements on the former Bluffton School and Pigeon Hill properties on Muskegon Lake and near Lake Michigan.

 

Wooden stakes were placed on the property by a surveyor earlier this week, which caused an outcry in the Beachwood/Bluffton Neighborhood Association Facebook group.

 

“The people down here in Bluffon are pretty environmentally conscious, and it doesn’t take a lot to get this hornet’s nest stirred up,” said Larry Page, president of Pigeon Hill Alliance and a Bluffton resident who was active in the Facebook conversation.
