Exciting Times Ahead For The Complex!
Future of the Complex, New season pass deal, Bike event and more!
Dear Supporter,
As we approach our 33rd year we couldn’t be more excited about the future of our non-profit mission of providing quality outdoor recreational facilities and programming to Michigan residents and visitors alike. We are delighted to let you know that we have been working very hard transforming our complex into a year-round outdoor recreation mecca.. The first project we have in the works is the build-out of the Lake Michigan Dunes Canopy Trail. The first phase of the canopy trail will be the construction of a dual 1000′ mega zip line traversing from the top of the luge dune all the way to a landing tower near the lodge. As part of the canopy trail experience, we will tell the story of the dunes and the unique eco-system in which we exist. Fundraising has already been under way and we are already close to raising enough money to qualify for a $50,000 match grant from the MEDC!
As of today we have raised $46,711 of the $50,000 needed to earn the matching funds.
We have 5 days left to raise the remaining $3,289.00 and we’re asking for your help to cross the finish line!
On Saturday, November 11th come out and bike the lighted trails at Muskegon Winter Sports Complex from 7pm to 11pm. This is a fun event for all ages and skill levels!
