MUSKEGON COUNTY, MICH. – Many youth in Muskegon County work hard all year round for fair week. It’s happening right now at the fairgrounds on Heights Ravenna Road.

Tuesday, July 25, a number of shows took place — including equestrian events.

It’s year 89 for the fair and it runs through Saturday, July 29.

For participants, especially those showing animals, it’s both fun and hard work. “A lot of kids look forward to this,” said Christopher Knight, V.P. Muskegon County Youth fair board. “Usually the month after the fair we are getting ready for next year’s fair.”

Tuesday night, the main attraction at the grandstand is a tractor pull. That event begins at 7 p.m.
