Lake Express ferry features wi-fi, upgraded food service in 2017

MUSKEGON, MI – The 2017 car ferry season is already shaping up to be a good one.

“Sales and bookings are up,” said Aaron Schultz, vice president of sales and marketing for the Lake Express high-speed ferry. “People are ready to get going and get to West Michigan for that vacation, and we’re happy to bring them your way.”

The high-speed car ferry that operates between Milwaukee and Muskegon will make its first trip of the 2017 season on Friday, April 28.

The 192-foot-long ship crosses Lake Michigan in about 2.5 hours, traveling at 40 miles per hour. Drive time from Muskegon to Milwaukee is about 4.5 hours.
