Outdoor movie, snowmobile races headline Snowfest in downtown Muskegon

MUSKEGON, MI – Snowfest will return to Muskegon on Friday after taking last year off for the first time in 31 years.

Events begin when the Jaycees will host Frozen Friday on Western Avenue between Third and Fourth streets. It will run from 6 to 8 p.m. and feature “Frozen” on an outdoor screen with snacks, an arts and crafts station, a snow derby and appearances from “Frozen” characters.

The fun continues on Feb. 4 cornhole and snow volleyball tournaments will be held on Western Avenue between Third and Fourth streets. Registration for both tournaments starts at 9 a.m., and play will begin at 10 a.m. To register early, visit www.muskegonjaycees.org/snowfest
