Muskegon, MI— Battle Creek VA Medical Center (VAMC) is happy to announce that the Muskegon VA Outpatient Clinic is relocating to 2734 East Apple Avenue in Muskegon, Michigan. A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Open House will be held on June 21, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. We will begin seeing Veterans for appointments at the new clinic starting on June 24, 2024. “We are excited to introduce this new, modern facility to Veterans in the Muskegon area.” Said Michelle Martin, Executive Medical Center Director. “The new space is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our nation’s heroes.”

The clinic has 27,300 square feet of space, offering comfortable exam, consult rooms, and teamwork areas. The clinic will initially have the same services available as the previous location focusing on primary care and mental health services. We will look at adding additional specialty services in the future based on availability and demand in the area. There is also space for Telehealth, specialty service consultations, and group sessions.

Veterans who are not currently enrolled in VA healthcare can come to the Open House on June 21, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. to speak to find out about the benefits they have earned. They should bring their DD214 and last year’s income statement to speak to an Enrollment and Eligibility staff member.

The new clinic is replacing the existing clinic located at 5000 Hakes Drive which was currently 8,000 square feet. The VA will be leasing the new clinic building from GLOMAX, INC., of Fishers, IN for an initial period of 20 years.
